Leave the planning to us! We present a structured daily schedule with plenty of options built in. Throughout the day, you can choose between different fitness, yoga, meditation, education, and recreation sessions. All activities are optional. A member of our team will help you decide what’s right for you.
We operate on a weekly basis. We recommend arriving on Sunday so that you can join us at the start of our program. (Saturday is also a good option!) The minimum stay is one week, and there is no upward limit. Because the weekly schedule and classes vary according to the season, weather, and guest interest (and there are plenty of daily options) there will be something new to experience no matter how long you stay.
7:00 AM Waterfall Hike
Greet the day with a brisk morning walk! Visit one of our onsite waterfalls or take in the sights at the Toxaway Falls overlook.
7:30 AM Breakfast
The morning meal awaits you in the Culinary Center. Enjoy your choice of eggs, fruit, smoothies, or other seasonal menu items. (Try the house-made cashew yogurt!)
8:30 AM Connect
Connect with yourself and your breath: celebrate the day with a blend of meditation, breathwork, and light stretching.
9:00 AM Fitness Session
Depending on the day it could be circuit training, strength training, cardio, or pool workout. All classes are small (usually less than eight people) to allow individualized instruction at your level.
10:30 AM Educational Lecture
Participate in an expert-led discussion on a specific wellness topic: fitness, metabolism, stress management, weight loss, nutrition, healthy aging, and more.
12:00 PM Lunch
Back to the Culinary Center for a hearty, nourishing meal. We follow a seasonal menu; our chef and dietitian work with you to accommodate any dietary needs and preferences.
1:00 PM Hike or Outdoor Adventure
An off-campus trip to one of the many breathtaking nearby trails. We frequently visit the waterfalls and overlooks of Pisgah National Forest, DuPont State Forest, and Gorges National Forest. Recreation options like stand-up paddleboarding and fly fishing are offered seasonally.
3:00 PM Fitness Session
Another opportunity to get in a workout! Our fitness classes are designed to complement one another, so you won’t get bored or overdo any one type of exercise.
4:15 PM Yoga
Take to the mat to stretch, breathe, relax, and strengthen. We offer signature classes in a variety of yoga styles.
5:30 PM Dinner
Enjoy another satisfying, delicious meal served to you by our dedicated culinary team. Chat with staff and guests around our community table.
6:30 PM Evening Activities
After dinner, opt in to an on-campus enrichment session (workshops and discussions on specialty topics) or take an off-campus field trip to one of the local attractions: Oskar Blues Brewery, bowling, gallery walks, and more.
7:30 PM Self Care / Unplug
Downtime to read, journal, reflect, connect with your follow guests – whatever you choose!
After a pleasant day of movement, healthy food, play, and self-care, slip into the soft linens of your private room and relax into a deep and restful night of sleep.
