Travel Information: COVID-19
It is with a heavy heart that we announce that as of March 30, Skyterra will be on temporary pause. With travel restrictions and social distancing, the COVID-19 pandemic has critically affected our business. As a result, we feel we must close Skyterra to guests for what we’re hoping will be the short-term, for the health and safety of our guests and staff and the greater world as a whole.
That being said, it is important that each of you knows how much you mean to us. You are such an important part of the Skyterra family and we are grateful for each of you.
Our promise to you: we will reopen as soon as we can.
Even though Skyterra in-person retreats may be on hold, we remain committed to our mission of making a difference in the lives of everyone we can reach by demonstrating healthy, enjoyable, and sustainable lifestyle changes. We will continue to do all we can for you until this, too, has passed.
Here are some ways we plan to support you during this time:
The skeleton team that remains will work harder than ever to keep Skyterra going so we can reopen at full capacity, even better than before. In the meantime, if you do have questions about our retreat, we are here to help. Any new or existing reservations are completely transferable without penalty.
We are thinking about all of you, and are sending you our best thoughts and wishes during this time. If we could bottle up and send to you the peaceful silence of Skyterra, the wind sliding through the tall trees, the joy of our community, the coolness of the streams and the lake, and of course the love you feel on campus, we certainly would. For now, stay safe, stay healthy, stay tuned.
With all our gratitude,
Sue Crowell, Founder and Owner
Teresa Ostler, RN, General Manager
Jeff Ford, Executive Director
